Help with power window motor

I have a 1980 f150 302 that the passenger side window lift motor is seized up. Is there any way to get the window down with out taking out the motor? also if I wanted to change from power to a manual window regulator where does the manual regualtor bolt to the door frame? Any suggestions? Should I stick wtih power or switch to manual. Tired of the window being flakey.

You have to remove the whole assembly to get the window to go down. A new motor will cost about $50.
You will have to drill the rivets to remove the assembly.
I strongly suggest sticking with the power windows. You won't regret it!
A pain in the butt (but worthwhile) job.

Thanks

Thanks everyone for great advice!! I will let you know how it comes out. Still getting the hang of working on an older pk-up so what i think should take a couple of hours usually takes 4-5 but I'll get there.
