FE 360 and C6 compatibility?

FE 360 and C6 compatibility?
I'm looking to swap out my np435 for a C6 but I'm unsure if I will need a small block bolt pattern or big block. I've tried hunting for the answer but nothing as direct.

theres a sbf bellhousing 302,351w, and 351c, then the bbf 351m/400,429,460.
The FE's are family only, going to need one from a 360 are 390 for the most part. The bellhousing's are solid, so theres no interchanging.

I have a c6 bolted up to my 352! No probs. I believe they were made for heavy rides with big blocks, galaxies etc... I'm sure some of you guys know more about that than I do!

There are c6 trannys for the small block 335 series, c6 for the 385series but bolt pattern is also the same as 400M, c6 for the inline 6 and c6 for the FE series engines.
But you have to get a FE SPECIFIC to get the right transmission cuz of there are differant bellhousings for other engine families so look carefully, and be specific when askin at salvage yards or transmissions shops. Year, engine, etc etc
