Have you tried running a search on the forum? You should find a ton of information.
But, in short, CPS = Camshaft Position Sensor. It tells the computer at what point in rotation the engine is so the injectors can be fired at the correct time. It's located on the front of the motor, at about an 11:00 if looking at the crank pulley from the front of the motor.

Steer clear of AutoZone.
A good place to get them is the International Truck dealer ($99 or so). The Ford dealer part will cost you $175 or so.

Check Ebay, there is a guy on there that sells them and he has really fast shipping. I ordered mine on sunday and It came on wednesday, only because monday was a holiday.
