replacement panels

I am thinking about buying floor pans for my cab when I switch it to my other frame and was wondering how hard it was? I dont have a light weight welder I have a heavy welder which even when it it turned down I tried to weld some new peaces in my bed and burned right though them in a heart beat. So I was wondering if there is any other way to do it. and do I have to cut out the old ones?

you could check into a stitch welder. It attaches to a stick welder which I assume is what you have. It reduces the amperage and allows you to weld sheetmetal. J.C whitney has them and I think they are fairly cheap. I used my gas welding setup and yes you do have cut the old stuff out but it's not that bad.
