AODE questions

I made a thread earlier in the week about the unusual behavior of my AODE transmission in my 94 F-150 2wd 302.

The behavior is best as I could describe it as slipping every once and a while under heavy throttle, and hitting large hills at high speeds.

more information: I noticed since buying the truck that it felt as if something was dragging.. like the truck was sluggish. The feeling is when I let off the gas and coast, the truck wants to deccelerate slightly.

When I bought the truck I took notice to this and while getting a safety I got a tune up as well. Also I noticed that the sliders on the front calipers were rusting and possibly causing the front brakes to stick. Now this cleared up problems with pulling to the left when hard braking, but the dragging feeling was still there, brakes look good, sliders replaced.

FAST FORWARD TO A COUPLE DAYS AGO....

the weather is cleared up and it got ALOT nicer outside. I jump in the truck and head to the store and notice that the truck drives like a million bucks now. There is ZERO drag and it coasts effortlessly. For a couple days the truck runs like this, its great, exactly how I want it to drive.

Now fast forward to today, I get on the expressway, for the first time since its running GREAT, and the truck gets up to speed awsome, transmission doesnt give a hint of slipping, doesnt feel like its having a hard time at all. After five minutes on the freeway, I think I slow down a bit and BAM... I all of a sudden feel like I have an empty trailer on my *** end. Now its all of a sudden acting like before. Very sluggish and like I am dragging.

Now the Motor runs excellent, the brakes were JUST check out while getting a safety and all look good. suspension is in suprisingly good shape. ball joints etc are good. Wheel bearings seemed fine.

With these symptoms along with the slipping issue from before it points me to the trans. It really feels like I have a clogged valve or something in the transmission (this is what it *feels* like)

Can anyone point me in the right direction. Could this be caused by dirty or old fluid in the tranny? I am planning on getting it serviced tomarrow. Is there anything I can get them to look at while I am there? Would this sound more like the rear end, or trans?

And also, would it be wise to get a full flush, or just a fluid change?

Got it figured out, it was a loose air intake tube from intake to MAF
