E250 wireing diagram
I did not mark the wires in my econoline E250 (year 1978 - 6 cil.) so I donīt no how to connect them back.
Lining diagram will be helpfull (electrical sheme).
It is the same for all 250 engines in year 1978 ?

I don't have any wiring diagrams, nor any vans to go look at, but I know the 1967-1979 trucks very well. My guess is Ford probably has the same wiring and colors for the common electrical systems, so I'll try to help out. Specifically which system are you trying to hook up (engine, transmission, lites, etc..)?
Keep in mind that specific questions are much easier to answer than vague ones.

I took out the engine and when I put it back I couldn't connect the wires.

Thank you for your answer, here is the question.
The problem is ignition. Little box with letters "MOTORCRAFT" on it made of aluminium (this is electronical ignition I think).
4 wires going out from the left side of the box to the conector (orange, purple, green, green-black) and this is OK.
2 wires gong out from the right side of the box to the other connector (white, red) don't no where to connect them. After the connector white becomes red with black line then comes little connector and then the wire becomes brown. Red wire becomes white after the connector.
Next problem is the light machine (is this the thing that produce electricity ?).
3 wires
- big black to the battery (ok)
- orange to the regulation of charging (ok)
- what should I do with the brown wire?
