PVC hook hose up
I have a 78 302 which seems to be making noises in the hose that has the PVC valve on. Do anyone have a diaghram of where the PVC hose is hooked up to and the hose coming off the right valve cover also.

The hose comming from the pcv valve should connect to the large port (usually 3/8) in front of the carburetor. The hose comming off the passenger side valve cover should lead to a smaller filter in the air filter housing. My 79 302 and your 78 302 should be the same. If you hear a noise comming from the hose, it may be cracked and causing a vacuum leak. (hissing sound)
