I did this a year ago. If you go to the top of the page and click on search. Then the Advance search it will open up to states and provinces or names of persons and years of trucks etc. You have to figure out which you want and how. I did it a year ago and have forgotten how. At that time there was about 300 persons each in both Sask and Man. So that was about 600. What happens is some people register and go on for a short while and drop off. Some have 2 posts and some 50 and then there are ones like us that post 1000's .
You could try this route, I may do this again at a later time.
Thanks Glen for stepping in, we will have to make you our deputy house leader in times when I am away from my office or busy.....or run out of answers for all these tuff questions.
All in favour?
Heres the answer to the question. I was wrong you have to go to the members list and then do a search of the provinces and states. To shorten it you click on the heading with provinces and states and it will come up alphabetical. Then click advance search and type sk for province and country would be Canada.
Anyways the results are There are 8,452 registered members to FTE in Canada. 392 are in Manitoba. Way to go Man. drumm roll Saskatchewan has, Suspense wait for it, I can't tell you guys. Owe quit twisting my arm. alright alright. We have 412 members here is Saskatchewan. ( CHEERS CHEERS< APPLAUSE APPLAUSE< Hurrahs hurrahs.)
Way to go Saskatcheawan. Thats a 1/8 of the registered members in the country of Canada.
Thanks again 66gpw, some will be members who have come and gone. Too bad but there is no way to have an update on active members.
Can you put in a link for us?
when you get to the ones on Sask. It shows how many posts they have done and if you click on the posts it will show all the posts they have done and if you look at the posts there should be a date when they made the post, like our posts above the user names. That would give an idea when they last posted. I'm not sure our FTE moderators monitor this and try and contact the isernames that have been inactive for more than a year or 2 . They should do this to help clear up their system and get rid of the members who no longer want to be involved. Also re-establish contact with ones to see if they still want to be involved.
66gpw, I contacted FTE head quarters and their policy is to not delate anyone ever. I though it would be good to remove inactive members, someone who had made 1-2 posts three or four years ago and hasn`t been on since.
I did email some inactive members and did not get any response except from xplict. He had hit a deer in Feb. bending his bumper and was busy renovating his house.
That is silly to leave inactive members on the site when only 1 or 2 posts were made 3 or 4 years ago. I would clean them out to make space on the system for the active members.
I had a active member here before as GPW66 and was off for awhile, but when I tried to activate it it would not let me, so I changed the numbers around.
It would be nice to have cleared up though.
