instrument cluster switch
I need to find out about switching an instrument cluster on my 99 ranger 4 door 3.0 to a cluster w/ a tach. Who do I need to do? Also I need to see if there is a way to change the mileage on the new one

Plug and play. The harness in the dash is made for the tach cluster already.
98-03 clusters in the Ranger clones and Sport Trac/Exploder Sport will swap. Up to 01 in Exploders.
As for changing mileage, I don't know. I did this swap to my 94 Ranger, as a search will find, but I don't know what's involved in the 95-later clusters. I just haven't seen one up close to know if it's just popping the odometer out or something more has to be done.
