I am wanting to find a cheap set of spotlight/offroad lights. I'm planning on having 8-10 lights on my truck, so I figured if I can get them all in a more intense beam, I should have enough light to see everything for a long ways. I know that KC has some, but I was looking to see if there are any in the sub $30 range. Anyone know if such a light exists?
Just something to think about. 10 $30 lights is $300 and a LOT of amps which will require a major upgrade to your electrical system. A few higher quality lamps will provide the same amount of light for the same price (possibly less) and use a fraction of the power. I run cheap lights because I rarely use them but if you need to see well at night you really will get your monies worth with some of the higher end lights. I'm not saying you need to buy the most expensive stuff out there, but do some comparing. You'd be surprised at how much better light you'll get out of the higher quality lights.
That is a bright light. 12 million candlepower... wonder how bright that actually is. I had a 1 million candlepower spotlight a long time ago, and I thought that was bright.
Well part of the reason for all the lights is asthetic, but I want it to still be somewhat functional, since I will be turning them on. The electrical has been upgraded, so I was just wondering if anyone had a cheaper light with a concentrated beam, instead of all the floodlights that I've seen on the market. I don't think though I'll be able to use 12 of them lights though. That would be what we like to call alittle bit of an over kill! LOL
I have a 12 million candlepower portable spotlight for hunting. You wouldnt belive how bright this thing is. I get white spots when it shine it on the water 20 yards away
The brand name of that light on Bgreen's buggy is LightForce. I know around here Cartoys sells them. They are really nice lights, priced a fair amount lower than PIAA but still up there. My buddy runs a pair of them on his GMC.
