I was thinking about changing the oil in my 427 Cobra last night when it dawned on me that the 427 uses and oil cooler to help keep the engine temps in check.
It's really small, and sits in the front opening below the radiator opening.
Would a similar application be of any benfit to cooling the diesel engine oil, thus helping reduce egt's or cooling of the pistons via, the oil spray?
Or is it like trying to sweep the sand up at the beach?
Too much heat generated too quickly to be of any benfit with such a small cooler.

Just thought I'd ask.
The PSD has an oil cooler on the left side it runs up to the oil filter housing
assembly. About 3" diameter straight tube,if memory serves me.
