Stalling problem
Need any help or ideas from anyone. My father has a 2001 F-150 he bought in 2003. Since that time, on at least 4-5 occasions, the truck has given him a problem with stalling, both when idle and when driving at speed. Each time, he took it to the Ford dealership locally and each time they have "guessed" at the answer, charged him for the service, and sent him on his way. The truck then runs fine for awhile then develops the same problem again. Needless to say, he is getting tired of paying for their guesses and I told him I would go online to see if anyone else has experiended this problem or might have a suggestion. I forgot to get from him what the Ford dealership has already done to his truck to "fix" this problem. Any suggestions are appreciated!
