Super Cobra Jet head ??
Has any one used Ford racing super cobra jet heads on a newer 460. I have a '91 or '92 fuel injected truck motor. I read somewhere that the block will need work to get the heads to fit.

I'm not up on the aftermarket 460 heads but unless the are specific heads for EFI then they will not work. The EFI 460 motors have different heads than a carbed motor meaning the intake ports and exhaust ports are located differently.

Thanks, I thought it would be as involved as putting on boss heads. So just get the pistons notched. Another question, what kinda compression can i run with those heads and pump gas? Sorry for not being more specific but I want to make the engine carbed.
