defrost ducts

hello the defrost duct on in my 59 ford f100 are shot and ive looked around and cant find new one any ideals on where i could find new ones or how i could make new ones my self

Johns F-100's has them in fiberglass. 45.00 for the pair. Seems like a fair price. I haven't bought them so I don't know how they mount. I'm going to give a stab at making my own first. Look under Heater 57-60 on their 57-66 truck page. Good Luck, John

I repaired mine many years ago. They were closed up at the upper opening. I stuffed them with newspaper to get them back into the proper shape. Then I took fiberglass cloth and resin and completely covered the outside. Pretty messy but when I repaired them repros were not available. They have worked good as new ever since.

I did mine with the fiberglass and resin also and they have been in there for years and so far so good.......Jim

thanks ill check out johns f100 or maybe trie to make a set on my own
