How Invovled is it to switch from a 302 to a 351w and still have my working Fuel injection and my air Conditoner or if i am foolish for wanted to switch to the 351W can someone suggest how to get the 302 to liven up a little. The truck is a 1986 f150 SUpercab. and while i love my truck the 302 doesn't have enough UMPTH. Thanks in advance for your help.

u will need to find an intake from a fuel injected 351. the deck height is 1 inch taller on a 5.8 than a 5.0. thats all i can help out on

 

There's a bunch of web pages on swapping a 302 for a 351w. It's a popular conversion. Unfortunately, it also requires a buttload of parts to be collected. Intake's only 1 of like two dozen items here that have to change to put in a 351w.

It's all engine items, the computer, and the tranny flex plate. I don't believe A/C will be affected.
