Wish me Luck

Well I havent posted in awhile so I figured I would let my first one in awhile be a doozy.

Well about 3 weeks ago I started getting severe pain in my right shoulder so I went to have it looked at. Well the found several small tears in the tendons in my shoulder and a small tear in my rotator cuff. So they sent me to see a orthopedic surgeon, well while he was talking to me I mentioned how I get severe pain in my outer and side of my shoulder and my neck has been bothering me. He sent me for another MRI this time of my neck and spine and they found a bulging disk that is pushing against my spinal cord causing the pain. Now I see a Neurosurgeon (sp) on the 20th. I am afraid to mention any more pains they might decide to just kill me off.

By the way cortazon shots are the ..... they take away all kinds of pain.

Wow. Glad they found that stuff before you really tore something up. The world will be a better place after you're put back together.

The only problem with cortazon is that it wears off....

Steve, good to hear from you. Sorry it had to be about such bad news. I am sure that the doctors will get you fixed up in no time, of course, youo could have just come down to Wichita and we would have taken care of it all for you free of charge. We have plenty of duct tape and baling wire.

Good luck with surgery. The hard part is over, since you know what the problem is. Now you just get to relax and recover. Let us know how things go.

Yes cortozon does wear off but the vicatin and darvacet are a nice bridge until the next shot. A few of those and nothing can hurt me.

Update

Well I go under the knife on Teusday. I will be having disk replacent surgery on my C 5-6 disks. NOt looking forward to it especailly since they will go in through the front of my neck to get to them. Should be interesting though havent had surgery for 15 years and this time I have 5 kids to wait on me hand and foot. Can't wait for that part.
