replacing CPS question

Does CPS stand for cam position or crank position? How hard is this and how expensive to change?

I believe on the powerstroke it is a cam positions sensor, but both do the same thing, tell the computer where the engine is located in its stroke so it knows when to fire the injectors. Also gives you your tach. 10 minutes to replace. Cost $90-$120 or so unless you buy one from the Ford parts department. It is located on the front of the engine just under and to the passenger side of the bottom belt pulley. A wire connection and 10 mm (I believe) wrench are all that are needed to change it. Takes a little prying with a large screw driver to get the old one out sometimes. Easy fix...

I tell you what, with a plow frame on and my size (non-skinny) it looks like a not so good time replacing it. If I had to I could get it done (hence the 10mm wrench, screwdriver, and spare CPS in the glove box)
