engine perches

I was wondering if anyone knows if the engine perches from a 77.5 F250 4x4 will fit an early 77 F250 4x4 high boy? I have the perches for a I-6 in the 77.5 low boy and the frame is no good and i want to put that engine in my 77 high boy, does anyone know if they will be a direct bolt in or if they will fit with a little bit of work?

Thanks jeff

Jeff, I don't do 4X4s but what makes you think there would be any difference? The whole 73-79 series trucks should be the same like 2wd.

Jeff:

You have both trucks right there I assume. After you take your measurements then it's time to get your hands dirty. :-)

John the boxing in of the from on the 77.5 may have something to do with the perches cause on the high boy the frame is not boxed in. Other then that i think they should fit but i'm just not 100% sure.

Thom one of the trucks isn't right close by or i would do that.

I don't recall the subtle differences that may be presented in this case or I would have already posted.... :-)

Jeff, What exactly are you referring to in (boxing)? As StockMan posted I am not aware of any changes to the chassis that would cause there to be a difference. The engine perches are attached to the chassis, and that series is from 73-79.
