If it makes you feel better, the other day I did see a Chevy strapped to a trailer with a Dodge leading the way, dang Cummins! You could always drown your sorrows in a new Super Duty . Was the 90' a 460 or 351? Maby it is time for a project truck?

I know what you mean about payments, I feel the syphon in my wallet once a month. Do you have any pics of the '49 ?
None in my computer, it is rough, my uncle bought it new, He put over 100,000 miles on it than my father got it totally restored it and than put I think over 200,000 miles on it, the last 10 years it was used was a farm truck, not too beat up just no TLC, and it has been sitting since 1982. It will start up with some fresh gas though. The truck is all original except the flathead six was taken out and a flathead V8 "made the same year" was put in. I do still have the original six that came in the truck too.
Sounds like a keeper! I would love to have about a '45-'48 to do a street rod. I have a buddy that saw one ('46) sittin in a field and offered the gal $50 bucks for it, he towed it home! Wish I could come across one of those deals. Mabey some day.
