It's been available for several years... I have the XLT Sport package on my 2005 F350. As long as all the paint has been well-maintained and the front bumper hasn't been chipped to all hell (consider one of those "invisible bras" for it...), I think it's quite a desirable package. It makes the truck look very unique, inside and out.

Of course, it's a "looks" package... you may love it, others may hate it. Buy what you like.

 

The Sport Package originaly called the BFT Sport Package (Built-Ford-Though) has been available since 2002 up until 2004 for the old SD style, and then again from 2005 on up for the redesigned front-end SD's. In 2002, it was only available on XLT extended cabs though.
