hopefully not tranny problems
i have a ford f-550 and when i gear down on the push button on the end of the gear shift the light isn't coming on or the truck isn't shifting down has anyone else had this problem before ?

Take the plastic cover off of the steering column. Carefully inspect the wires going into the shifter. Even if the insulation looks good the wires inside could be broken. Either fix the wires or replace the shifter. It should be about $50.
