Does anyone know if Ford Offers A 302 that can be is as affordable as the Small Block Chevy. I want to soon put a new 302 down in my truck to replace the one thats in there and i want all the fuel injection to work when i do. thanks in advance for your Help. also i would like a engine that does have a little bit of umpth to it. so if you could suggest one i would greatly appreciated it.

well i am looking for affordable. the Chevy 350 can be purchased brand new from the manufacture for around 1600 dollars. I was inquiring to see if ford offered a 302 that is around the same price.

Depends on what you want. Ford doesn't have stock 302's or 5.0's anymore. You can get a performance one from them. You can also get a bare block from Summit racing. For 1600 your looking at a stock rebuilt one. A good rebuilt will perform at least as well as stock motor. Plus you should compare the price of a 305 chevy to a 302 Ford since they are the closest displacement to each other.
