Just like 90% of the FE's running around they get the job done and people remember them as that and only that. Get a FE set up properly with the right "performance parts" and they will perform even if they're Ford production parts, show 'em what a real FE can do. Years ago I still remember the sound of a 917/30 Porsche in its mad work mode, never hear a motor as mean unless its a F1 or a Pro Stock. I don't think them Krouts were stupid 40 years ago.
I got to be careful as I mentioned Porsche and now been called "beemer your a ricer" by a fellow FTE member.
