seat belt extender

Does anyone make a rear (60/40 bench) seat belt extender?

I have an 06 F250 crew cab xlt. Problem is the buckle portion barely sticks out of the seat...car seat hangs over the side of the seat in order to buckle and stay buckled. Ford parts dude says they don't make a rear seat extender only the front (which are different). Also, it's so short it rubs the leather.

No adjustment can be made on the factory set up.....anyone have any ideas?

Go to a junk yard and see if an Aerostar front or backseat belt will fit the bill. If so, pay the $10 for it to use as a mock up install. Get the Aerostar trim code from the door with an interior color you like, then go to the dealership and order a new set (never use junkyard belts) for your truck. For a car seat you will need the clips, many times they will still be in the glovebox. I think you can get them free from the dealer too.

My father bought some at the local dealer not too long ago. Took some convincing of the parts guy that they existed, but once he went and looked he came back with 'em! They added about 6-8 inches.
