When to change oil?
Ok my dad has a new 2006 F150 with the 4.6L when should he change the oil for the first time? I know this is an Expy forum but hey I have an Expy and its what I check everyday. Thanks for the reply.

I ususally do the first oil change at 1000 miles and then again around 3000 miles. There is a lot of wear metals in the oil during the break-in period and I like to get them out. The first oil change the oil will look like black metal flake paint.
