5.4 iac help

i bought a new iac from car quest the other day and it doesnt look like the one that came off the truck, some of the main differences is there is a big hole where a hose fits on and the fact that the plug is facing a different way. what kind did i buy? i am gonna goto auto zone and see if i can get the right one.

Maybe the one they sold you is a universal model? IMO you are better off getting one at the dealer. You may pay a little more, but at least you know it is the one designed for you application.

Have them check the parts numbers for the 4.6 as well. I got new pads from them and they had the "Over 7000" switched with the "Under 7000". They prolly have the part, just cataloged wrong in their system.
