New problem with lower intake gasket

I'm replacing my lower intake gasket and as I add coolant it leaks out
somewhere at the top back of the engine. I removed the intake and looked
at the gasket and it looks ok so i put it back on and had the same results
again. Just wondering if anyone has had this problem. Thanks, James

Hey! and welcome to FTE!
Sorry for the delay in getting a repsonse to you.
I have been out of town a good bit lately.
I'm guessing you have the aluminum intake.
There is a small rubber hose that hooks to the intake. It looks like a vacuum line, but it isn't.
This hose circulates coolant through the intake to warm the intake charge, (Which makes no sense to me).
If you didn't get that hose back on the nipple on the intake, it will squirt coolant out at the back of the intake.

you can bypass this loop through the intake by just running the input hose straight to the output hose.
