Stupid exhaust question
I am wondering what my factory exhaust system is made out of? Stainless, aluminized steel, steel. I am thinking about going aftermarket and wondering which route to take. Thanks.

i think for the price difference it is a better choice to do stainless. it won't rust like the alluminized will. I have priced out some exhaust systems and for the extra $100 or so I think it is better to go with the stainless and be done with it.

The factory exhaust is stainless steel. If I were to change it, I would go stainless, although depending on the weather conditions where you live and how long you plan on keeping the truck, aluminized would be fine.
