Oasis please

Polarbear, could you be so kind and run this truck for me. Any serious history that I should be worried about.

It is a 2005 F-350 Lariat scab sb 5.4L auto with only 5K miles

No repair history at all, two outstanding TSB's for snap-ring replacement on the tranny. Thing looks like it's never had a warranty claim.

Polarbear, They are asking $29K for it. It has been on their lot for a while. With that low of miles, would you jump on it or pass. It is on a used car lot not a Ford Dealer.

It's a 5.4- you know my thinking on that motor in a SD.

I hear ya. I love my V10. Back in 03' when I baugth my v10, it was rated at 310hp and 4something tq.

That 05' 5.4 is 300 hp rated and 365 tq. I never tow and sometimes haul. It is hard to know how it will measure up.

I guess my real thoughts go something like this- if a F350 with a 5.4 will do everything you need it to, why the expense of the F350? A F150 Screw will do it all too- with much better gas mileage, and a lower purchase price.
