I have a Ridgid 700 threader that not alone is heavy but will pull you over a tri-vice on winddown threading 2" another don't use with a hangover tool.
I used one to power the digger for drilling wells.
Another good one is drilling steel plate and someone disconnects the cord on the magnet drill base before a safety line is attached.
I saw this happen over salt water at the Alameda NAS, the operator recovered the magnetic base drill motor, repluged and pulled the trigger. Nice sparks shot out and motor as it went up in smoke. It would of been better to dunk it a few times in fresh water and heat lamp dry it over night hell what do I know Milwaukee's only cost $1,900 plus complete.
At $10 a ticket, that's gas money the beer bill is less these days than gas.

I do it all the time, depending on what I'm drilling.
I purchased a 1/2" drive 1/2'' chuck for my Ingersol-Rand impact gun.
It works great on alot of materials.
And it won't snap your wrist.
