What to do
Heres the low down...Just picked up a 96 F-150 5.8L 120,500 miles on it 4x4 all stock currently and i have about $1000 to use to modify it...i know i want exhaust and possibly a lift..any suggestions that will help it perform/look/sound better thanks i tried posting the pics on here but i didnt work so heres the link to some pic of it

Wow, that is a really nice truck. yes 96's have o2 sensors, i would replace those a.s.a.p as mine went out right after i bought it. Just do a tune up first as quicklook2 mentioned above, wires, fluids, exhaust is usally a must on older trucks. Like mine needed a exhaust within the first month because of rust. also if you want a good rumble, lookin into the flowmaster 40 series. My truck is also a 96 F-150 Eddie Bauer 4.9L Inline, Manual, 120,000 miles only diffrence is regular cab, and a 2WD, and paint.
