I'm trying to figure out what color I want to paint my 68 Bronco and today I may have seen it on the highway. That's where I need some help. I think it was an F250. It was an orangish red and really sharp. I think it would pop real good with a black top and fender flares. Anyone know what color this is or have pics of a truck that they might think is this color?
Someone posted a pic of that color and it doesn't look like it. It was more of a orange metallic. The truck wasn't two tone.
That would be me. As I stated in the post, it looks very different in various lighting conditions. There is a guy 2 blocks away from me that has a 2000 "Bright Amber" F-250 that is solid in color. Difference being mine is a Lariet, his is an XLT. The paint code for Bright Amber is "BN".
Depending on the amount of sunlight, shadows, clouds, you name it, it will appear as various shades of copper, red, and orange. It's a whole nother beast in the dark. It is a very unique color. There aren't many around this neck of the woods. Besides the one down the street there is only one other in town. Findlay Ford, the mega-Ford superstore place sells a lot of trucks. But only one of this color (and it was special ordered). Mine was sold new in Cleveland, my neighbor's new in Columbus. I personally like it and like to be different. As far as your Bronco goes, I'm sure it would look sweet. Just make sure you really like the color. Most people love it or hate it!
