Replace Salve Cylinder?

I'm replacing a clutch on my 91 f150 4.9L 5spd and the parts place wants me to replace the slave cylinder as well. so far, the only problem with the clutch is a noisy release bearing and I'd rather not spend $200 on clutch parts now. The clutch job has already grown into a rear axle overhaul with LS Diff and 3.55 gears going in with a bearing/shim kit and replacing or silliconing the shift tower plugs on tyhe M50D trans. Where does it end?

replace it if you can afford the extra $100 at the time. If not leave it in there. Just remember slaves are very common to fail when you have over 100,000 miles, and if yours does your going to be going through the whole job again.

Thanks Dave, I went ahead and ordered the slave with the kit. After reading your post I looked again at the haynes manual and it said to replace if any moisture was evident around the slave. I popped the rubber inspection cover off and looked in with a flashlight and noticed a little mosture - not much and I didn't notice any drop in the resevoir, but it was enough for me to make up my mind. Ended up with a pretty good deal, I think; $178 total delivered cost to me for a Sachs kit with the slave. I was hoping to get a Luk, but Sachs will have to do.
