VinfordI'm sitting here in Southern Ontario near Lake Erie. Have a 01 Explorer sport stored in my barn for the winter and just bought a 1996 Ranger 4 banger with an automatic for a winter beater. Perhaps you can point me to where I might find a solution to my problem. I have just gotten the truck safetied and want to get it on the road but I'm having a transmission problem. All gears work, there are no codes showing, filter and fluid have been changed but it shift hard in every gear. So much so that it chirps the tires when you put it in gear at a fast idle. I haven't been able to pin point the trouble and am hoping for some success here. Can you please point me in the right direction.
