Fusible link somewhere?
Make sure the truck is out of gear and cross those two big terminals on the fender mounted solenoid with something heavy like a big screwdriver. If the starter spins the motor over the battery and the starter are good as well as the heavy wiring to and from. I wonder if it's ignition switch. See if you have power in your fuse panel.

A short at or in the Alternator usually causes this.
This can also be caused by putting a fully discharged battery in a truck and when the Alternator goes to full charge it can exceed the rating of the fuse link.
If the fuse link does not open under these conditions the Alternator would burn up in about three minutes.
Stock size Alternators are not for charging batteries, they are for maintaining the charge. To charge a discharged battery you would use a Battery Charger.
A Fuse Link can be checked by trying to stretch it, pull on each end and if it stretches its bad.

Yes, 1991 Ford F series.
There is no way an ignition control module can cut power to the items covered in this thread.
