9" rear differential
Hi all, I just finished rebuilding a 9" rear and have it up for sale. The tag is totally unreadable and I know absolutely nothing about the diff part with the spider gears in it. Someone has asked me if it is a posi of any sort, and I am not sure. I have been reading around and everyone seems to say the exact opposite stuff about lockers, limited slips, open diffs and so on. Im beginning to wonder if anyone actually knows the difference. J/P. Anyways it is a solid case with one small hole on it to see into but i cant see in too well. It has 4 pinions, thats about all I know. Is there any way I can tell just by visual inspection what it is? If you like I can send a pic and you can see for yourself.
