i have 2002 350 cc 4x4 psd with the fatory camper package and overloads.
i carry a 1999 lance 1020 slide in camper around 3800#'s.
i have installed timbrens instead of air bags but the truck will still sit on the overloads. Curious as to which would be best to due to make the truck ride level. 1. add a single leaf or two per side, or 2. add a bolt on helper spring siystem and if so what kind. thanks in advance
Do the air springs. With the slide in I could raise the truck higher then normal ride height with out the camper. They ride smoother with or without the weight on the truck compared to the add a leafs.
If you are interested I have a set of no drill install firestone air bags that I just took off my 04 when I traded it. They are 1 year old. And work great.
