Need some help with service

Afternoon all,

I am hoping that the general knowledge in this forum can help lend me a hand with some preventitive service.
I am recent to the diesel world so please cut a little slack if you can.
The truck is a 7.3 auto 2001 250 with almost 100k on the clock. The only mod is an intake (big paper filter one from tymar).
The truck is used 85% of the time for towing duties (24ft enclosed trailer with car inside about 7k total lbs).
Before I begin the travelling I am obviously planning on changing the oil and filter and the diff fluid was thoroughly drained and replaced within the past 5k miles.
So this is where you come in. What would be intelligent to do besides what i have just described? About 13k miles ago I had a full 90k mile service (I remember it as being a really comprehensive one), but being as the truck has sat for a lot of the winter I am just worried about it.
Many thanks.
Jon

Check your fuel filter and replace if needed. Maybe add a Trucool tranny cooler for extra cooling(in addition to your stock cooler)$100. Add the Sonnax/Tricumulator kit to your tranny for $50. Firmer shifts and increases tranny longevity too.

You can never go wrong with chopping the stock exaust off and installing a 4"or 5" for some better breathing and lower EGTs in concert with your "big paper"

Thank you for the recommendations, it seems like the fuel filter would be good to change.

As for the exhaust I am currently playing phone tag with Mark R and hope to work something out.

If anyone else has anything I should look into like wheel bearings or other wear items to recommend, please let me know. Many thanks.

Wheel bearings, brakes, shocks, belts, fluids, battery levels, etc should always be checked before setting out on a trip. It doesn't matter if you just had them all checked a while ago. That was then and this is now. Anything can happen.
