3 programs. 70hp/150tq, 90hp/175tq, 110hp/200tq. While towing on the low setting it is possible to reach 1300*, but you have to mash it on an on ramp or running up to speed under a heavy load. On the highest setting, drag racing your buddy it is possible to hit 1300*, but again you have to mash it and not let up. Reasonable or normal driving, I can not see ever hitting 1300*. To sum up the SCMT I would say about the most power you can say is reasonably safe. Just my take on it in two years of use.

He's not asking about a SCMT he is asking about a SCT, two different animals.
I just got mine working right yesterday, seems my truck didn't like the SCT 9415 stock tunes. But Mike and the gang over at SCT worked out a set of programs for my truck and emailed it to me. Good people to work with. An easy install right from the computer to the unit, using a USB line, plugs right into the SCT. Most people don't have any problems with the units.
I havn't done any real testing yet, pulling my 5th wheel, dyno or drag stip stuff, but seat of the pants, tire smoke and black smoke out of the pipe. YA Buddy!!! It sure wakes up the truck. I havn't got any hills around here to to do a test, but on flat ground in the performance tune I can't get the EGTs over 1200* before I'm over 100mph, which dosn't take very long. I'll have some info after I fool arond with it more. You can go here for more info. SCTFLASH.com

Haven't towed with it yet but no body complains about Jody's tunes. He is fantastic to work with. It amazed me that in my experience he is even better than his reputation. I got the 60 tow program which is perfect for my daily driving but Jody said it might be a bit much for towing my 9000lb boat through the mountains in the 100 degree summers we have. He said to try it and if I have EGT problems he will adjust it for me. Talking with other who have the 60 tow, I don't think I'll have any problems with it. I got the Xcal for cheap because I really only wanted the one tune...

If I had to do it over again, I would buy one from Jody. Because I'll more than likely get his tunes down the road anyway.
