My 86 F150 4.9 liter has a habit of the throttle sticking for about a minute then it settles back to Idle. I tried unplugging my TPS sensor to see what it would do. the thing throttles up and then returns right back to idle no lag or sticking. I just replaced the TPS sensor when I replaced the carb.

What will happen If I just leave it unplugged?
