Motor FItment
Truck Currently has a 410, and a C6. My question is this... If I had a 302 or a 351 with a t-5/c4 would I be able to remove the 410 and put in the 302? Will the bolt holes line up the same without any other modifications??

A Merc 410 is FE based (390 w/a 428 crank). Any FE would be a bolt up (352,360.390,428) Anything else would require some mods. I'd stick with the 410 personally if it's saveable. The 428 crank is worth a couple hundred if it hasn't been ground.

ok, so now i am getting confused. a lot of guys are saying it is a mel motor, not an fe motor. does that mean when searching for parts like aftermarket camshafts, heads an so on, i look for 390 parts to fit on the 410??
