tranny swap?
I am replacing my c6 tranny in my 70 f100 360.
I need to know the tranny pan bolt torqe(since im changeing filter and gasket).
and tranny fluid capacity(bone dry).
torqe converter fluid capacity.
basicly how much fluid i need to ad..
Ive changed a few trannys before but never a c6. and tips/hints
on this replacement?

tranny swap?
Tom, I believe the guy at the tranny shop told me 13qts. for a bone dry C6. If I had it to do over again I think I would go with pure synthetic rather than the regular. As for the pan you are just snugging it, so you can get by without a torque wrench.
