Well it looks like I will be getting my 460 and C-6 from a fellow list member, better then that I will be getting the whole truck. It is a 77 F250 2x4.
1. What do I need to do to this motor to make it ""pull!!!!""" my 15,000 lb 5th wheel trailer? I mean down low, 70 mph on the interstate, up the mountains etc.. I want my cake and to eat it too.
2. So it looks like I will be swapping the rear axle into my 77 F150. What concerns or problems will I have with this swap?
3. How hard would it be to change the front ends on my 77 F150 to this 77 F250? Pros and cons?
TIA
PS.. I received many responses, including this one to my paid classified ad I placed with FTE. I feel that there isn't a better bunch of people out there then FTE's list people. I would rather pay a couple bucks and place an ad here and get good responses from great people then place it in some paper or web site where I don't know anyone and could get god knows what.

I would go with a good RV cam, RV Shift Kit, Heavy Duty Transmission Cooler, biggest radiator that will fit, beefier springs, air shocks and about 3.50 gears. Don't know about your front end swap. Sounds a little heavy for an F-150 Chassis but I won't say that it won't work out for ya. Good Luck
Sorry there is any confusion. The 460 and C-6 that I need to pull with is my 74 F350 Super Camper Special, I will bu using those out of the 77 F250, I will be using the F250's rear end in my 77 F150 and front hubs if I can.

Well in that case you have all the truck you need. I thought you were saying that you were going to pull that trailer with you F-150. Just a good RV cam, tranny cooler and RV shift kit with 3.50 to 3.70 gears will get you where you are going.
I'm rebuilding the 460 out of the F250 to put into my 350, the one I have in it now is a little tired that with the Cruise-o-matic she really hurts on the top end, I can get up to about 55 and thats about it. I want something that will pull really good up to 70 mph. Plus I can really see the fuel gauge drop as I do 55, the pedal is to the floor.
