What's with this pH thing?
Pardon my ignorance, but I've been reading a few posts here and keep coming across mention of balancing the pH in your cooling system. Never heard of this before...
Can anyone please elaborate or point me to a link that explains this?

The article talks about "SCA's" but does not mention a brand or product name. What exactly is an SCA and does anyone have recommendations?

Ford dealers sell a supplemental coolant additive, but its expensive! Thats the only place Ive been able to find it. I believe i found the ph sticks to check the coolant with at Auto Zone. Since I got my ph and everything else where its supposed to be, I have not had to mess with it again. Its been over a year now.
