Looking for a bed!
Hey all,
I know it is a little off post, but hopefully the Mod Gods will show mercy.
I am also posted in the SD forum, but I know a few dudes here have some parts. I need a bed, for a 99 SD, preferably in black. Mine has folded out on the passenger side.
Yes, unusual. I had a round bale of hay on board, and it was pushed too far up for my tractor to lift out, and there was no way I could push it myself. Well, the cows were very hungry, and very vocal, so I tried to wrestle it out from the side, and the spear let loose a little sooner than my plan called for.
I am sorta laughing now, but the wife aint!
One ton of hay is nothing when falling on the top rail from inside.
It is drivable, but I still owe money on it, and would like to have some dignity left. I also have 170K on it, so I dont need anything showroom. I almost was headed to the shop to put in the twin stacks, but I think that will wait now.
Funny thing, you should see all the Dodge trucks when I get close. Havent been smoked in awhile. Matter of fact, maybe I should put one of those Cummins stickers there!

try your local truck body dealer...here in mass I was trying to buy one for my 2000, before I found out my truck was ordered new as a cab-chassis and the back of cab to axle is 4 " too long 
I actually found a brand new take off body from a 2005 and the place was willing to take 600 bucks with tailgate....but no bumper. good luck, scott
