Time to strip the trim and find a place to repair and plate them. I am in the NW Arkansas area, but am willing to drive a few hours (Tulsa, Springfield) to get the job done right.
Anyone know of a place that can take out the dents and scapes from my 1970's aluminum trim?
What can I do to lessen the costs? ie. deanodizing? Sanding?
Has anyone done this? And what valuable things can you share with me? I don't want to learn the hard way.
The big problem is the trim pieces tend to be too long for the tank to either anodize or chrome. Aluminum also takes a different solution to chrome that steel so a shop would have to have a dedicated set up with a very long tank for my trim. I never found one. If you find a place please post.
