Let me save everyone the hassle.........throw it away and get a DP chip/tuner.
Sorry that was kneejerk.
In my experience, they don't do much. As far as the SES light goes, if you push boost and HPOP pressure beyond factory limits it's gonna light up. So no matter what you do performance wise - expect that. I think there are chips/Tuners/mods that defeat the SES due to overboost.
I have Edge Juice/Attitude and Evolution and have yet to see the SES light. I run 25-27 psi.
I have mixed reviews of the Edge products. They have consitently made great power for me, however my mileage drops a good bit and they create a lot more smoke ( than other programmers/modules I have used) I was running an E-Z @ 60,stacked with my Evo @ 100. LOTS of power ( It wouldn't take much at all to trip an overboost light) but lots of smoke and higher EGT's coupled with dropped mileage. Sure I'd pass everything on the road, but at what cost.
Right now I'm stacking the E-Z ( again @60) with an SCT Excallibrator II @ 100. I certainly don't feel the raw power I did, But the smoke is all but eliminated, EGT's are 150 degrees cooler, and my mileage is back to a "tolerable" level. Oh yeah, and I'm still passing most everything I want.
So I guess the answer would be....It depends on what you're looking for out of your truck. What mods are already done, etc. The E_Z by itself seems like a decent module to add a little extra oomph without ruining your mileage, EGT's etc.
Sorry for writing a book!
Like I said before, It really does depend on the previous mods to the truck. Not just engine, but lift, tires, gearing etc. I run a 6.5" lift and 37" tires with the stock 3.73 gearing. I haven't had a problem as far as gearing and performance go, but it could be an entirely different story if you're running a stock suspension with stock gearing ( be it a dually with 4.10 or the SRW with 3.73)
I have found recently that most trucks ( albeit "stock" from the factory) react differently to different performance mods. I have a buddy with basically the same truck as me, but his truck is a rocketship using a Diablo chip, and ran like crap on the Edge evo. My truck didn't like the Diablo, but is a screaming banshee on the Evo. The only difference is 2.5" of lift difference between the two of us. Can I explain it? NOPE! I guess our trucks are like our children. Each has it's own "personality" It may seem kinda fruity, but so far it's the only explanantion I can come up with. I have found a lot of other folks with the same "idividuality" present in their trucks. Best bet? try different set-ups and see what works for you.

I can't think of anyone that didn't like their DP Tuner. Do a search on this site for DP Tuner or Jody Tipton. Don't waste your time and money with anything else.
