My new (to me) F-150
I just purchased a 2003 F-150 XLT extended cab. It has the 4.6 V8, R70W tranny,and 355 LS gears. It is 2 wheel drive and dark green in color. I don't know Ford's name for it. It has 44,000 miles and so far I am very pleased with it. Any suggestions as to what needs to be checked, changed, or replaced? I do not have factory tow package but would like to add a transmission cooler, any suggestions?

Sounds like a winner, I would follow the manauls recommended maintenance schedule, especially if you still have a warranty. If you do that you will be surprised how little you have to do to it......but...."IF" something does occure, well, you came to the right place, very helpful people here and will answer any question you have to ask.
