gas gauge trouble

I was wondering what I needed to fix my gas guage. I know the fuel pump on the rear tank doesnt work and the front one does, so I have to keep it on the front tank but the gas gauge stays on empty all the time. What do I need to fix this problem?

It sounds like your sending unit inside the tank has gone bad..Try doing a search and there wil be alot of information on it..
