I have a 72 ford truck, and the windows rattle because the belt weather strip (some call them window sweeps) is worn out. I have already replaced the window channel felt but need to replace the window sweeps
Has any body done this task and how hard is it. How do you take them out. And who should I buy the window sweeps from for best price and quality.
i just replaced both channels and sweeps. Just roll the window down all the way, and gently pry the seals out with a screwdriver. they have metal clips that press in. Got mine from JC Whitney seem to be good quality fit great.
Hope this helps.
